You understand and agree that if you use the Services after the date on which the updated Policy takes effect, we will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Policy. Each version will apply to information collected while it was in place. We will notify you of any material changes to our Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on WanderMark.com (the "Site").

  4. Information received from Third Party Networks. We may receive information about you from third party networks such as Facebook via "Facebook Connect." By using features we provide that interface with sich third parties, you consent to the receipt of your information from such third party. For example, by using the Facebook Connect feature, you consent to our receipt and processing of information provided to us by Facebook. Our Policy is to treat personal information consistent with such third party networks' privacy policies. You can read Facebook's privacy policy at http://facebook.com/policy.php
  5. Privacy choices and settings. We believe you have the right to control over your personal information. It is your choice which information to specify in your profile, which photos to upload, and what other types of content you want to share. We and third party networks (such as Facebook) may make available to you various additional tools for specifying your privacy settings, including settings that allow you to specify which users in your network are permitted to access certain information about you. You are solely responsible for monitoring the content and privacy level of any content you contribute to the Services and you understand that WML is not responsible should you fail to take advantage of any privacy settings features. If you are logged into a Facebook account, you can edit your privacy settings at http://facebook.com/privacy/.
  6. Use of Contact Information. In addition, we may use your contact information to market to you, and provide you with information about, our products and services, including but not limited to our Services. 7. Log Data. When you visit the Site or use our Services, our servers may automatically record information that browser or device transmits ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. For many users accessing the Internet from an Internet service provider the IP address will be different every time you log on. We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Site and of our Service, and for technical administration. We do not associate your IP address with any other personally identifiable information to identify you personally, except in case of violation of the Terms of Service.

C. Cookies and Advertising

  1. Like many websites, we use "cookie" technology to collect additional website usage data and to improve the Site and Services. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer's hard disk. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information. WML may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with the Site and our Service, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on the Site, and to improve the Site and our services. A session cookie enables certain features of the Site and our service and is deleted from your computer when you disconnect from or leave the Site. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser help file directions. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.
  2. Information received through advertising Networks. We also use third party advertising services to display advertisements on the Site. Currently, we use the Google AdSense program. Some or all of those advertising services may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will send these advertisers information about your visit including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. Geo-targeting is sometimes used for the purposes of matching advertisements with visitors based on certain attributes. An example of this type of geo-targeting would be showing Los Angeles car dealer ads to someone located in Los Angeles, or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited, such as showing travel ads to someone who frequents travel sites. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with Google's Privacy Policy and opt-out options by visiting http://www.google.com/privacy_cookies.html
  3. DoubleClick DART Cookies. We also may use DART cookies for ad serving through Google's DoubleClick service, which places a cookie on your computer when you are browsing the web and visit a site using DoubleClick advertising (including some Google AdSense advertisements). This cookie is used to serve ads specific to you and your interests ("interest based targeting"). The ads served will be targeted based on your previous browsing history (For example, if you have been viewing sites about visiting Miami, you may see Miami hotel advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as on a site about hockey). DART uses "non personally identifiable information". It does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers. You can opt-out of this ad serving on all sites using this advertising by visiting http://www.doubleclick.com/privacy/dart_adserving.aspx.
  4. You may choose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts. Deleting cookies does not mean you are permanently opted out of any advertising program. Unless you have settings that disallow cookies, the next time you visit a site running the advertisements, a new cookie will be added.

D. Information Sharing and Disclosure

  1. Service Providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data.
  2. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. WML will cooperate with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of WML or a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
  3. Business Transfers. WML may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy. You will have the opportunity to opt out of any such transfer if the new entity's planned processing of your information differs materially from that set forth in this Policy.

E. Changing or Deleting Information

  1. If you are a registered user of the Site, you may access and update or correct the information you provided to us via the Site or by e-mailing us at privacy at wandermobile dot com. With respect to information that we received from a third party such as Facebook, you may need to contact such third party in order to request changes.

F. Security

  1. WML cares about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.
  2. We will make any legally-required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored personal data to you via email or conspicuous posting on this Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

G. Links to Other Websites

  1. Our Site may contain links to other websites. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personally identifiable information from you. Other sites follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personally identifiable information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites you visit.

H. Our Policy Towards Children

  1. The Site is not directed to persons under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy at wandermobile dot com. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal identifiable information, we will delete such information from our files.
